So since it is January 1st... tell me what you want to change in your life..Did you know that you are the only one that you can change? That's right..you can't change anyone else..it all starts and ends with the person you look at everyday in the mirror. So start today by identifying one thing you would like to change and then share it with me...

  3. For me, giving the Holy Spirit more free reign and trusting in His timing, His promised strength, and His promised bearing of the burdens-- if I can truly start to allow God to work through me instead of me either dragging my feet or guessing what He wants, boy oh boy, as written in Ephesians, there's a lot more that could be accomplished, more than I would dare to even ask for! And that said, I'm pretty sure it wasn't the Holy Spirit's idea that I ate nothing but two Reese's trees and a cup of coffee for breakfast-- ha ha! A far cry from progressive, but I rationalized, "I'm helping my husband not to have to eat them all"-- it was for *his health, isn't that a riot? :)

  5. I want to make it more of a priority to spend more time interacting with my children. I feel like I tend to co-exist with them but I want to work on actually enjoying the time and interacting with them!

  6. Susan, I'm so glad you decided to start a blog. You are off to a wonderful start. This year I hope to be kinder to myself. I neglect myself to the point of hurting others in the long run. I would like for God to help me balance my time better.
    Hugs,

  7. Horray, your blog looks fab Susan!

One thing I really want to work on this year is PROCRASTINATION.
And you are so right; only I (we) can change these things for ourselves!

  8. Hi Susan,
It's so nice to see you have a blog. I know I will enjoy stopping by. There are so many things I'd like to improve on, with one solution: I would like to continue to grow steadily in my relationship with Jesus. When I am in line with how he wants me to live, then everything else falls into place and I have the strength and knowledge to change the things I need to.
Blessings for a happy new year!

  9. Susan: I'm so excited to see you've created a blog! This is the first time I've been on one!! The thing I'd like to work on in 2009 is to find my outer beauty. I've spent years(and continue daily) working on my "insides". I ask God to give me the courage to show people on my outside the tender, femininity I feel on my "insides". It is scary for me. What a safe place for me here. Thanks! Love you-Beth
