I just want to say THANK YOU to all of my readers that have served in the military or that have loved ones serving. Words are not enough. Your sacrifice is a great one. Because of YOU we are FREE! I will ALWAYS be grateful!

Memorial Day is always bittersweet for me. It has a much more serious meaning for me since 1993. My first husband was killed on active duty while saving 2 of his soldiers. He was on a peace keeping mission.
